About Us
Skater’s Edge Source for Sports is a locally owned and operated sporting goods store specializing in hockey, skating, baseball, lacrosse, ringette, and soccer. We’re passionate about helping athletes perform their best while staying connected to our community through events, teams and local organizations.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a creative, motivated Marketing Intern who is currently enrolled in a College or University program and eager to gain real-world marketing experience. This role is ideal for students interested in marketing, communications, digital media or business.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with social media content creation (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.)
- Help plan and promote in-store events, sales, and community initiatives
- Support email marketing campaigns and basic website updates
- Create simple graphics, captions, and promotional materials
- Conduct market research and track engagement metrics
- Collaborate with the store team on brand ideas and promotions
What We’re Looking For
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a marketing, communications, or related program
- Comfortable using social media platforms
- Creative, organized, and eager to learn
- Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar) are an asset
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
